In-situ data can be collected using the drilling apparatus aboard the Greatship Maya

 ‘Down hole’ mode allows for continuous samples to depths of client specifications. Down hole in-situ testing such as the following is performed using a Wison – APB tool through API drill pipe.

• Seismic cone Penetrometer
• Vane shear test
• Dissipation Test

 The Greatship Maya has a drill derrick on aboard positioned above a moon pool with the following features:

• 32 Meter derrick with 100MT pull capacity
• 3.5 meter stroke heavy compensation with 80 Mt capacity
• Top drive – Rotary drill F150. 23k ft lb torque. 80 – 100 rpm
• Drill string length 2000 meters – API  5 ½”
